The Bardolino Christmas Market

When? From 22 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.
The Bardolino Christmas Market takes place along the beautiful lakeside promenade. The characteristic wooden huts offer typical products and gift ideas from traditional food and wine to local handicrafts and many high-quality Christmas items. At Carrara Bottagisio Park, you will find a covered ice-skating rink and a large Ferris wheel, while a horse carousel and Santa's interactive sleigh will keep your children entertained in Piazza del Porto. Strolling through the old town, you can visit the Church of San Severo, the Church of San Zeno and the Parish church of San Nicolò, all wrapped up in a magical Christmas atmosphere.

Christmas decorations and numerous lightings bring festive sparkle to the centre and create an artificial starry sky and transform Bardolino into a charming Christmas wonderland on Lake Garda. The market provides a packed entertainment programme, including events, shows and concerts. Finally, on 1 January, the brave ones can welcome the New Year with the traditional dive into the cold waters at the Mirabello lakefront.

How to reach the Christmas market in Bardolino if you are staying at Hotel Caesius? On foot with a short walk, or, even easier, with our free shuttle bus that runs directly to the centre. The service is also available for the return journey. For more information, ask at the reception desk.
