The Bardolino Christmas Market

When? From 22 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.
The Bardolino Christmas Market takes place along the beautiful lakeside promenade. The characteristic wooden huts offer typical products and gift ideas from traditional food and wine to local handicrafts and many high-quality Christmas items. At Carrara Bottagisio Park, you will find a covered ice-skating rink and a large Ferris wheel, while a horse carousel and Santa's interactive sleigh will keep your children entertained in Piazza del Porto. Strolling through the old town, you can visit the Church of San Severo, the Church of San Zeno and the Parish church of San Nicolò, all wrapped up in a magical Christmas atmosphere. 

Christmas decorations and numerous lightings bring festive sparkle to the centre and create an artificial starry sky and transform Bardolino into a charming Christmas wonderland on Lake Garda. The market provides a packed entertainment programme, including events, shows and concerts. Finally, on 1 January, the brave ones can welcome the New Year with the traditional dive into the cold waters at the Mirabello lakefront.

Christmas markets near Bardolino

The Christmas markets in the neighbouring towns usually take place in Garda and Lazise. Both places come with a festive atmosphere thanks to numerous colourful lights and the stunning lake view.
 

Garda Christmas Village

When? From 28 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.
The beloved event “Natale tra gli Olivi” returns to Garda with a completely new look, transforming the Regina Adelaide lakeside promenade and Piazza del Municipio (Town Hall Square) into a charming Christmas village. The magical atmosphere is brought to life by enchanting lights, which illuminate the promenade and the white wooden chalets dotting the lakeshore, filled with gifts, crafts, and sweet treats. The celebration also highlights local culinary traditions at the Borgo del Gusto, a special pavilion where visitors can enjoy regional delicacies every weekend. At the heart of the festivities, Piazza del Municipio hosts Santa’s House and a sparkling ice rink, completing the festive experience.
 

Lazise Christmas Market

When? From 22 November 2025 to 6 January 2026.
In Lazise, the Christmas market is set up in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele and along the Marconi lakeshore, where dozens of exhibitors bring life to the town selling a wide range of typical products, gifts, local handicrafts and culinary delights.
All of this will be accompanied by Christmas songs, an artistic Nativity scene in the Church of San Nicolò, creative workshops for children, traditional games, tastings, and a street food area where you can try the local cuisine. Lazise’s guest of honour is Santa Claus himself with his carriage, providing both young and old with a very special Christmas on Lake Garda.
